Recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, will host a free concert in Cleveland, OH on April 15 for volunteers in Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. This is the first time a rock band has hosted an an event in support of the president. Loudwire reports on the story:

While Red Hot Chili Peppers are in Cleveland this weekend for their upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, they figured they’d shake some hands and kiss some babies with a free concert for Barack Obama campaign volunteers, lending their support to their candidate of choice.

To get into the show, set for Sunday (April 15) at the Cleveland House of Blues, all you have to do is a little phone work in Northeast Ohio for the Obama re-election campaign. Fans can sign up to volunteer for the phone bank here, and if it’s not too late, secure your spot at the show.
