Originally scheduled in South America on April 9th, a Rick Ross concert was cancelled due to the emcee having yet another seizure. Last year, the rapper suffered two seizures in just six hours, but has appeared to be in good health since. In a statement from Guyanese promoters, Ross was headlining a show at The Guyana National Stadium when the event was quickly shut down. AllHipHop has the latest.

Promoters in Guyana have issued a statement regarding a canceled show featuring Rick Ross that was supposed to take place on April 9.

The Miami rapper was supposed to hit the stage at the Easter Fest Rozay at Guyana National Stadium, but the show was abruptly canceled. Organizers confirmed that Rick Ross was forced to cancel the show in Guyana, because he suffered from a seizure.

The medical condition left the rap star unable to fly, according to the statement. “The artist has suffered a medical emergency and has been ordered by his doctors not travel,” promoters Hits and Jams Entertainment said in a statement.
