Mary J. Blige parodied in 'unaired Burger King commercial'

theGRIO REPORT - An improvisational comedy troupe, The Second City, released a parody called 'Mary J Blige's Unaired Burger King Commercials'....

Many of Mary J. Blige’s most loyal fans were shocked when Burger King released a commercial featuring the Grammy Award winning singer crooning about fried chicken snack wraps. The ad received an overwhelming amount of criticism, with some even calling it an act of “buffoonery.”

Blige has since come out to say that the commercial was “unfinished” and that she understood why her fans were upset with what they saw.

It’s been weeks since the original ad was yanked from Burger King’s YouTube channel, but a number of spoofs have allowed the Blige’s Burger King commercial to live on.

Second City, legendary improvisational comedy troupe, released the video LEAKED!!! Mary J Blige’s Unaired Burger King Commercials on YouTube yesterday; it already has more than 30,000 views.

In the video a Mary J Blige look-a-like suddenly appears and begins singing about Burger King’s crispy chicken wraps during a corporate office meeting, on a basketball court, and in a re-enacted slavery scene.

By the looks of things, the “No More Drama” singer will have to wait a little longer before the public gets over her controversial Burger King commercial.
