Queen Latifah will headline the annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival on May 19, making this her “pride debut,” as Long Beach Pride Co-President Pat Crosby said in a statement. The Cover Girl will join the likes of Jennifer Hudson and Indie Arie, who have performed previous years. The Huffington Post reports on the story:

Grammy Award-winning rapper and Academy Award-nominee Queen Latifah is set to headline this year’s annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival on May 19.
