Best Buy employee hijacked straight customer’s Facebook to come out as ‘gay’

A Best Buy customer is outraged and may sue the company after an employee fixed his phone and used it to falsely identify him as a gay man on Facebook. The friends and family of Rich Dewberry were confused and distraught. Best Buy did fire the employee, however Dewberry felt humiliated and may press charges. The Daily Mail reports:

A Best Buy customer is considering suing the electrical giant, alleging an employee fixing his phone used it to falsely out him as gay on Facebook.

Rich Dewberry from Denver, Colorado had to field calls from confused friends, relatives and former lovers after the prankster posted the confession as a status update on his Facebook page.

Best Buy have fired the employee responsible, but Mr Dewberry is considering legal action, insisting he has been humiliated by the outing.
