Mary J. Blige will be guest editor for the Essence magazine June 2012 issue. This will also be her twelfth cover of the magazine. Essence choose Blige because they have followed her journey from the beginning and see her as an inspirational African-American woman. They also said that Mary J. Blige reminds black women that men will find them most attractive when they learn to love themselves. ESSENCE Magazine reports:
