‘My kid would never do that’ teen, Elija, recalls racial bullying

High school student Elija knows what it’s like to be subjected to stereotyping, and even bullying, because of his race. The young participant in the Dateline special, “My kid would never do that,” shares his experiences, as a victim of the dehumanizing taunts and assumptions sometimes placed on him by other kids.
