Adele has reached another milestone in album sales. Her album 21 has sold 9 million copies in the U.S. The success of her sophomore album is just a part of her long list of accomplishments after winning 6 Grammys in one night. Huffington Post reports:

The soulful singer’s chart-topping sophomore album 21 has now sold over 9 million copies in the U.S. Adding to Adele’s long list of accomplishments, 21 will reach rare RIAA diamond sales status once it passes the extremely rare 10 million mark.

In April, the British songstress recently revealed that she’ll release a new song in 2012.
