The Ukrainian reporter who attempted to kiss Will Smith has apologized. Vitali Sediuk tried to kiss Will Smith at the Moscow premiere of Men in Black 3. Smith smacked Sediuk in the face after the incident.  Shotya.com reports:

Vitalii Sediuk, the Ukrainian reporter who tried to kiss Will Smith at the Moscow premiere of ‘Men in Black 3′ on Friday, has apologized for the red carpet stunt, TMZ is reporting. The journalist, who is known for kissing celebrities, said “I’m sorry, Will. It was a splash of emotion.” He added that he does apologize for his behavior, as “I think it was too much.”

After Sediuk tried kissing Smith, the actor slapped him in the face. After slapping Sediuk, Smith said “he’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him.” Despite the incident, the star of the second sequel in the ‘Men in Black’ series continued signing autographs for fans ad doing more red carpet interviews.

also in his apology, Sediuk said Smith “is a person who I deeply respect as an actor. “When I met him in Moscow, I wanted to do something to impress him,” the reporter added.
