Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is proud of his son Justin, whose accomplishments at this point include a Division 1 scholarshipto play on the UCLA football team in the fall. The 5 foot 9, 175-pound, 18-year-old signed his national letter of intent to play back in February. During the summers Justin attended as many college camps and clinics as possible to improve his game and worked out with Jets cornerback Darelle Revis. “It was worth it,” Justin said. The Daily Mail reports:

He is the richest man in hip-hop and last year his wealth was estimated by Forbes magazine to be $550million.

However, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs won’t have to trouble his fortune to pay for  son Justin’s higher education.

The talented 18-year-old, a 5 foot 9, 175-pound rising football star, has landed a $54,000 scholarship to attend a prestigious college in the United States following his graduation from high school.

The rap mogul’s oldest boy, his son with former girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim, will attend top athletic powerhouse UCLA on a full Division 1 scholarship to play football for the California-based university’s American football team, the Bruins.

The scholarship is only available to the most elite high school athletes, aged 19 and under.

Potential recruits must have won awards at high school level, and academically have logged test scores above the national average.
