UNDATED (AP) — Lauryn Hill turns 37 today. She rose to fame as the lead singer of The Fugees. The group had a hit with a remake of the Roberta Flack song “Killing Me Softly (With His Song).” As popular as the group was, Hill became even more popular as a solo act. Her debut album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” was a chart topper in 1998 and dominated the Grammys the following year, helping her win five trophies.
