In 2003, when Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) was a lieutenant colonel, he used his gun to coerce an Iraqi soldier into giving information. He was fined $5,000 and retired with full benefits. When asked about his military record at a town-hall meeting in Boca Raton, Fla, Allen chose to bring up President Obama’s admission of past drug use.

West raised Obama’s past drug use at a townhall in Boca Raton on Tuesday after he was pressed on his military record. “If you guys want to go back and talk about what happened nine years ago for me, let’s talk about the president doing blow and smoking dope,” he said.
