A woman named Kanye West plead guilty in Manhattan Criminal Court Wednesday to throwing an amp through a Time Square storefront window. The reason? The cheap amp charger fizzed out during a performance. Formerly known as Lina Resa, 28, West changed her name in April of last year to show her appreciation and admiration for the Chicago rapper. She even has “Kanye” tattooed on her buttocks. New York Daily News has the story:

Kanye West pleaded guilty in Manhattan Criminal Court Wednesday to throwing an amp through a Times Square storefront window.

No, not that Kanye West. The guilty party is a diehard fan of the “Golddigger” singer who legally changed her name to show her devotion — and even had “Kanye” tattooed on her derriere.

Formerly known as Linda Resa, Miss West, 28, was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree for her diva-like meltdown.

The aspiring singer who busks at 41st Street and 7th Ave. said she had lost her cool because her cheap amp charger fizzed out during her opening number — a cover of “Videophone” by Beyonce and Lady Gaga.
