NBC Philadelphia-A Temple University football player is suspended from both the team and the University following rape accusations made by a female student, according to the school. 

Temple says Praise Martin-Oguike will remain suspended pending the outcome of the case.

According to police, 18-year-old freshman linebacker Martin-Oguike was arrested on May 31 for allegedly raping another student in his dorm room five days earlier.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that on May 26, the 21-year-old victim says she went to Martin-Oguike’s dorm room on Park Avenue around 4 p.m. to watch television. She claims that not long after, he began to kiss her.
