NBC Miami – A lieutenant with the Broward Sheriff’s Office turned himself in Friday after officials said he was moonlighting at other jobs while on the clock.

Eric Wright, 50, is charged with one count of organized scheme to defraud less than $20,000 and 14 counts of grand theft, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities said on at least 10 occasions between August 2010 and May 2011, Wright worked for employers in Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach while he was supposed to be on duty and working his scheduled shift as a lieutenant.
