Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s former personal physician, is asking to be moved from L.A. County Jail to prison because he believes he will get better care there. The New York Post reports that Murray claims that he is only getting fresh air once a month and a fresh change of underwear once a week.

LOS ANGELES — Conrad Murray was pleading to be released from Los Angeles County jail, claiming that the toll it is taking on his body could mean he dies behind bars, TMZ reported Monday.

Michael Jackson’s former personal physician apparently wants to be sent to prison instead because he thinks he will get better care there.

The 59-year-old said he was being treated badly at the jail and only getting fresh air once a month, the report said.
