theGRIO REPORT - Actress Meagan Good, 30, star of Jumping the Broom and the blockbuster Think Like a Man, married over the weekend in Malibu. Good wed DeVon Franklin, 34, a film executive who she met on the set of Jumping the Broom in 2009, which he co-produced.

“The Think Like a Man and Jumping the Broom star exchanged vows with preacher and Columbia Pictures VP DeVon Franklin on Saturday evening at Triunfo Creek Winery in Malibu, Calif., PEOPLE has learned exclusively,” the magazine’s web site reports. “Among the 400 guests at the couple’s Spanish and bayou-themed wedding celebration: Tracey Edmonds, Derek Luke, Deion Sanders and Tasha Smith.”

Good also described her ceremony as a “dreamy,” romantic sunset wedding with an antique feel to People — an account that was reprinted in many outlets fascinated with the union of these gorgeous African-American luminaries.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that, “The actress wore a custom R-Mine gown with a purple-dipped train and sported jewels by Jason the Jeweler. She walked down the aisle to ‘These Arms.’ The ceremony was accented with purple roses, tulips and rustic gold and guests enjoyed a Southern Girl Desserts cake with flavors including sweet potato, banana cream pie and peach cobbler.”

“And just a day after their nuptials Franklin, who started his career as an intern for Will Smith, appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday,” celebrity watching outlet Radar online relates.

During their engagement both took a vow of celibacy until marriage. Good also stated in a recent interview that their first time together be on their marriage night. The couple is now enjoying a brief honeymoon in Big Sur, and is expected to take a longer break together after Good finishes filming her new NBC series, Infamous.

“DeVon makes me better, makes my life fuller, and completes my quality of life. He’s truly on my team and I am truly on his. God revealed my heart to him like nobody else,” Good has said about her new husband.

Franklin added, “I’ve never had more peace, fun, and joy than I’ve had with her.”
