All rumors aside, Keshia Knight Pulliam will not be joining the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bravo network isn’t saying much on the topic. However, the former Cosby Show star’s publicist released a statement to theGrio saying, “She’s not joining the cast. Rumors are false.”

Pulliam also slammed the rumors on Twitter, tweeting, “I am NOT joining the cast of RHOA this season… Next season or any season. I honestly don’t know where this rumor is coming from!! Pls RT.”

The last season finale of Housewives resulted in the departure of mainstay Sheree Whitfield and a mini spin off featuring Kim Zolciak (Don’t be Tardy for the Wedding). Immediately, fans went fishing to find out which local Atlanta celebrities would fill in the blanks. People like Monyetta Shaw, R&B singer Ne-Yo’s fiancée, were rumored to join the cast as well as Lil Wayne’s former wife, Toya Wright. Neither have been confirmed or denied, but the possibility of Pulliam joining the cast is a definite no.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also reported that Pulliam, co star of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, is set to star in a new sitcom featuring Bill Bellamy, Vivica A. Fox and Jon Lovitz.

According to the site, the new show is called Mr. Box Office and will be shot in Los Angeles.
