ABC’s Good Morning America host Robin Roberts has found her perfect match! Roberts’ sister Sally-Ann will serve as her donor after tests proved her to be a perfect match. Roberts announced in June that she had been diagnosed with the rare bone marrow disease. Robin Roberts has been credited for the increase in recent bone marrow donations. After attending a doctor’s appointment with her sister, Roberts took to her Facebook and Twitter accounts to express her sincere appreciation for her sister Sally-Ann. The Huffington Post reports:

My sister, Sally-Ann, went through a lot of tests today in preparation for being my bone marrow donor. She was such a trooper. A long day and she had a smile on her face the entire time. I, on the other hand, couldn’t stop crying. I’m so moved by her unrelentless willingness to do whatever it takes to help me.My sister, Sally-Ann, went through a lot of tests today in preparation for being my bone marrow donor. I’m Robin Roberts updated her fans on Friday about the latest round of her fight with bone marrow disease.
