A friend of the Miami ‘zombie’ recently revealed to the Miami Herald that Rudy Eugene had met his victim Ronald Poppo before the brutal May 26 attack. The Daily Mail reports:
The Miami cannibal had met his victim before, it has been revealed, which may help investigators find out what led Rudy Eugene to savagely attack Ronald Poppo.
Eugene’s childhood friend Fredric Christian told the Miami Herald that they had both met 65-year-old Poppo before when they volunteered with the Miami’s homeless community.
The horrifying May 26 attack, where 31-year-old Eugene tore chunks off Poppo’s face, sent shock-waves across the nation.
