Sean Hannity, the Fox News host who spoke to George Zimmerman in April, when the former neighborhood watch volunteer was in hiding even from his own attorneys, landed an exclusive interview with the man charged with second degree murder for killing Trayvon Martin in February.

The hour-long interview will air on Fox Wednesday night.

In it, Zimmerman discusses what happened on the night he killed Martin, 17, and he and his attorney, Mark O’Mara, address the issue of donations to his website that were not disclosed to the court prior to his April 20 bond hearing. Zimmermna’s wife Shellie is charged with perjury as a result of allegations she and Zimmerman misled the court in order to allow O’Mara to plead poverty on their behalf in seeking a low bond.

Hannity has been pursuing the interview since the two spoke off the record in April, and Hannity has been sympathetic to Zimmerman and his family in his coverage of the Martin shooting.

Separately, Fox News denied a Global Grind report alleging that Hannity offered to pay Zimmerman’s legal expenses. The report was based on audio of jailhouse phone calls between Zimmerman, family members, and in one call, controversial Quran-burning pastor Terry Jones, which were released by prosecutors on Tuesday.

A Fox spokesman told  TVNewser, which first broke the news of the interview, that Hannity “has never offered to pay any legal fees or any fee associated with George Zimmerman.”

The interview airs Wednesday night at 9 p.m. EST.
