Over the past few months, Kanye West has made no secret of his budding romance with Kim Kardashian. He has been seen publicly canoodling with the reality star on countless occasions, and even made his reality TV debut on Keeping Up With The Kardashians weeks ago.
According to Radar Online the “Gold Digger” rapper has asked a private jeweler to make an engagement ring for Kardashian, using diamonds from his late mother Donda West’s personal jewelry collection. West allegedly plans to propose to Kardashian when her divorce from Kris Humphries is finalized.
“Kanye picked out some of Donda’s most expensive pieces, including some diamond earrings and a ruby ring,” a source close to West revealed to Radar Online. “He then gave them to a private jeweler friend to make Kim a one-of-a-kind engagement ring.”
The website reports, West has chosen “Chicago or Oklahoma as the two places he’d love to wed Kim. Oklahoma is her personal choice because his mother’s grave is there – and he wants her at his wedding in spirit. But he hasn’t ruled out Chicago, which he credits for giving him inspiration for building his glittering career.”
West and Kardashian’s relationship has already outlasted her marriage to Kris Humphries which totaled 72 days.
