Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Miami rapper Gunplay, who is best known for his collaborations with Rick Ross on such tracks as the recent “Rollin'”, has a controversial tattoo that has received criticism from both critics and fans alike.  Gunplay has a swastika tattooed on the back of his neck.  The swastika is internationally known for being the symbol on the Nazi flag, thus representing racism, white supremacy, fascism, hatred and violence.

So why does the African-American rapper have a symbol known for white supremacy tattooed to his neck? In a recent interview with Pigeons and Planes, he answered that questions by stating: “it’s just my symbol of genocide to the bullsh*t. Mass murdering the bullsh*t. Too much bullsh*t out here. I came to Nazi that sh*t. I came to Hitler that motherf**ker.”

Gunplay defends his swastika tattoo, but is his personal choice indefensible?
