As the Jackson family drama continues to unfold on Twitter and television, legendary singer Gladys Knight weighed on the family’s drama during a guest appearance on a network talk show.

The music legend and songwriter told the ladies of CBS’s The Talk that “[Paris Jackson] wouldn’t have any teeth,” when referring to 14-year-old’s tweets about her family’s private affairs and which Knight sees as disrespect.

Knight added, “She is a Jackson, she shouldn’t be putting the business out there like that. Cause people read into whatever they want to read into, that’s how they get the drama.”

Paris is the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson and over the past couple of weeks she has relentlessly tweeted about the unfolding drama over her father’s will, and most recently about the whereabouts of her grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

Recently a video, which allegedly showing Janet Jackson trying to take her niece’s cell phone away in an attempt to stop her from exposing the family business, has gone viral.

Knight thinks Paris Jackson needs to learn how to respect her elders.

“See, I’m from the South and [I] was raised in that southern way,” Knight said. “You have to understand Paris is what, 14? How old is Janet? Who’s the one who tries to direct the other one here? And I would think that it’s a good thing she let’s Paris know who she is.”
