An overzealous Nicki Minaj fan recently suffered a brutal beating at the hands of the hip-hop star’s security team, and it’s been caught on tape. On video, which has been posted on Perez Hilton’s gossip website, the concertgoer — who had rushed the stage — is seen being kicked and stomped at a Miami concert while Minaj stands idly by. The Huffington Post reports:
A Nicki Minaj fan appears to have been punched, kicked and stomped on by security after rushing the stage at the singer’s July 24 concert in Miami.
Though it’s not entirely clear what occurred, a videos posted online seem to depict a group of security personnel pushing the fan to the ground. At least one person kicks the fan, while others are seen pummeling him. Minaj seemed totally unfazed by the incident, despite it occurring on stage, mere yards away from her.
The video above contains some graphic violence. Another clip posted on Perez Hilton’s website offers a second view which seems to corroborate the above description of the blows delivered to the fan.
