Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss recall past rap beef

There have been a lot of rap battles (which more than few would consider to be sub-par) in recent memory: Common vs Drake, Chris Brown vs Frank Ocean … but if you look back just one decade, this wasn’t the case.

While Jay-Z and Nas’ feud was grabbing most of the mainstream buzz  during the early 2000’s, hip-hop had another excellent beef cooking between Philly’s own Beanie Sigel and D-Block soldier Jadakiss.

If you Google “Beans vs Jada”, you’d be hard pressed to find a bad diss track between these two emcees.

In the clip below, the former rivals, now frequent song collaborators, spoke about their battles; who won, and the importance of competition in the rap game.
