Embattled ex-NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson got real introspective recently on Twitter. While lamenting the fact that he is no longer on a professional team (and is missing from the iconic Madden NFL video game) he admitted that he needs “to start life over and create a new one.” The Daily Mail reports:

Just three weeks ago he had it all.

But after being arrested for domestic assault on August 11, Chad Johnson was dumped by the Miami Dolphins, his wife Evelyn Lozada and his reality television show all in the space of three days.

And today it seems that the reality of his fall from grace has finally hit the former NFL star as he took to Twitter saying: ‘That awkward moment when you realize you’re not on Madden 13 [an American Football video game] and have to create yourself…’

‘I got to start life over and create a new one,’ the current free agent continued.
