Rap producer Memphitz is adding more drama to the VH1 show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta by filing a defamation lawsuit against the producers of the show and one of the cast members, K. Michelle, for character assassination.

According to the gossip site YBF, the lawsuit follows claims by K. Michelle on the VH1 show that she had been physically abused and extorted by her ex-manger/ex-lover, both fitting the profile of Mickey “Memphitz” Wright.

Although his name was never mentioned at any point during the show, those familiar with her story knew who the ex in question was.

YBF reported that Memphitz is suing for $1 per viewer per episode, and with the show airing 12 episodes in a season, and averaging around three to four million viewers per episode, the sums could add up.
