Last night on Conan, comedian and writer Deon Cole used his sense of humor to explain: “No one looks like Seal except for Seal.”
A Florida based TV station was forced to apologize recently when they accidentally used a photo of Seal while reporting on actor Michael Clarke Duncan’s death.
Cole compared mistaking two African-American celebrities like Seal and Duncan to other iconic American actors.
“Mistaking a black person for Seal is like us mistaking George Clooney for Nick Nolte,” said Cole.
The recent death of Duncan left many fans devastated. The Academy Award nominee was best known for his gentle giant role in 1999’s The Green Mile.
