Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network has been hitting highs recently, and this past weekend was no exception.

OWN’s new series Iyanla: Fix My Life featuring Evelyn Lozada, had a two-night premiere, Saturday and Sunday, and is the network’s highest rated series debut ever, ranking number 2 in all of cable when it aired Saturday night.

Season 2 of Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s premiered Sunday night and was the highest rated episode in the series history, ranking in the top 5 of all cable series during the time period.

Meanwhile Oprah’s exclusive interview with Usher, which aired on Oprah’s Next Chapter Sunday night, brought in 1.5 million viewers and ranked number 3 in its time period among women 25-54, posting quadruple and triple digit growth versus numbers from a year ago.

The week of September 10th marked OWN’s 35th consecutive week of total day year-over-year growth among women 25-54, for nearly nine consecutive months. Due to OWN’s ratings momentum, the network now ranks among the top 5 ad-supported cable networks on Saturday and Sunday night.

OWN’s highest rated telecasts thus far have been Rihanna’s interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter, which drew in 2.5 million viewers, and the episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter where she sat down with the Houston family after Whitney Houston’s tragic death, which brought in 3.5 million viewers.

Launching OWN has been an uphill battle for Oprah, but it seems like things are finally looking up.
