This week's reading list: 'An Angry A** Black Woman'

POSTSCRTIPT'D - Imagine being in a coma and hearing every word your family is saying...

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Imagine being in a coma and hearing every word your family is saying. And imagine reliving your entire life while in that coma, every tragic event, every heartache, every mistake, and every triumph. That’s the premise of An Angry-A** Black Woman, which was released this week. Set in Harlem in the 1970s, it’s the fictionalized true story of the life of Karen Quinones Miller, who fights everyone (including death) and it leads this week’s list.

Also on the list is a book to feed your soul, one to heal your body, and one to awaken your mind. And, of course, we threw in a little trash, courtesy of Arnold Schwarzenegger, because a pure flower can’t survive in nature. Here’s this week’s Hit List.
