Fans of Whitney Houston will get to see her family come together as they deal with the loss of Whitney and focus on her 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, in Lifetime’s new reality show The Houstons: On Our Own.

The 14-episode docu-series is set to premiere Wednesday, October 24th at 9 pm ET, and “will chronicle those closest to the pop music icon, including her daughter Bobbi Kristina, Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager; Pat’s daughter Rayah; Whitney’s brother Gary; her mother Cissy Houston, and family friend Nick Gordon as they try and pick up the pieces after her untimely death.”

The series will follow Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, guardian, manager and executor of Whitney’s estate as she attempts to keep this large family together and help Bobbi Kristina (who is the only heir to Whitney’s estate), deal with the loss of her mother in a healthy way and grow into a talented and beautiful young woman.

On Wednesday, October 17, a week before The Houstons: On Our Own premieres, Lifetime will celebrate the “I Will Always Love You” singer’s legacy with the one hour special Remembering Whitney: A Houston Family Album. The special will feature never-before-seen family photos, private home videos of Whitney, and candid insights from family members.
