In the midst of Hurricane Sandy aftermath, comedian Tracy Morgan decided to throw his opinion in the mix, blaming Mitt Romney for the natural disaster.

“This storm came out of nowhere! New York never had no hurricanes,” the 30 Rock star joked when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. “This got Republicans written all over it. This got Romney written all over it.”

As the crowd erupted in laughter, Morgan explained his theory, “We’re getting close to the election and they’re trying to suppress the Latino vote!”

“They have a lot of hurricanes in Puerto Rico. They know Latinos are scared of hurricanes,” he said.

Before joking about his GOP conspiracy thoughts, Morgan, who appeared alongside Howard Stern, shared stories about his love of pet sharks and his the inconvenience of having his family stay at his home during the storm.
