Kendrick Lamar is currently riding the wave of his epic, instant classic of a debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city.

Hip-hop taste-makers have praised the concept album for its in-depth storytelling and for being such a breath of fresh air to a genre where lyricism has been put on the back burner at times.

Prior to his debut, one of his biggest supporter was one of pop’s biggest stars, Lady Gaga, who gushed over Lamar’s potential and even hinted a possible collaboration in the works.

Unfortunately a Gaga/Lamar track didn’t make the album but Gaga did released a video of her version of “B*tch Dant Kill My Vibe”, where she lent her vocals to the hook.
