The upcoming film Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor has released a new poster.
The simple poster depicts a black snake in the shape of an apple with a woman’s face on the side, on a red background. Most of the text is in black, except for Temptation and the release date.
Unlike many of his movies, Perry will not be co-starring, but the film does boast a star-studded cast including Friday Night Lights actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Vanessa Williams, Lance Gross, Robbie Jones, Brandy Norwood, and Kim Kardashian.
The casting of Kardashian has caused many Tyler Perry fans to express their displeasure. Perry defended casting Kardashian on his personal website saying that people who look up to her can “see her in a film that is about what happens in life when you make the wrong choices.”

Perry wrote, directed and produced the drama.
“It’s about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life,” Perry told Huffington Post.
The main character goes on a journey throughout her life, realizing she does not end up where she had originally thought.
Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor hits theaters March 29, 2013.
