Ludacris is often associated with his album and record label name Disturbing Tha Peace. The rapper is now taking a couple from Texas to court for their alleged illegal use of the term.

According to TMZ, Bridges has filed a lawsuit against Demetri and Donna Evans-Brown for using “Disturb Tha Peace” to promote their audio equipment and record company.

The rapper says that he has owned the trademark phrase “Disturbing Tha Peace” since 2003 and he doesn’t want the couples’ use of the similar name to misguide consumers.

He also doesn’t want their products to be affiliated with him and ruin his reputation and is demanding that the couple stop using his trademark. He is suing for damages and lawyer fees.
