Current free agent quarterback Vince Young told Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald yesterday that he may be the solution to that struggling team’s problems.

On Sunday afternoon, the Cardinals got blown out by the Seattle Seahawks, 58-0. Two Cardinals quarterbacks, John Skelton and Ryan Lindley, played during the game, but neither managed to put points on the board.

Feeling the frustration of Cardinals’ leading wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, Young tweeted at him in hopes of being considered as AZ’s next quarterback.

Young played for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2011 season, and started preseason this year with the Buffalo Bills before getting cut.  Can Young do better than Skelton or Lindley?  Just shy of 30 years old, he believes he can help.

Tell us what you think.  Does the 2-time Pro Bowler deserve another chance?
