Scottie Pippen reality show in the works, ‘Big Pippen’

Is former Chicago Bulls superstar and NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen set to be the next reality TV star? According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Big Pippen” is one of seven new docuseries in development for WE tv’s 2013-14 viewing schedule.

WE tv is owned by AMC Networks and can be seen in 81 million homes. Senior VP Lauren Gellert told the Hollywood Reporter described the new programming as “spotlighting characters whose lives we want to explore.”

As for “Big Pippen,” which also features Scottie’s wife, Larsa, here’s the premise behind the show, according to the network:

Big Pippen, from Left Right Productions, revolves around Chicago power couple Larsa and Scottie Pippen. From private jets to designer digs, diamond rings and six NBA championships, the Pippen’s live a truly charmed life. Add in her overbearing family and his clan from Arkansas, and this duo is living life Big Pippen style.
