During last night’s BCS National Championship game, ESPN dedicated considerable airtime to Katherine Webb, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, cheering in the crowd.

About 10,000 admirers immediately followed the former Miss Alabama on Twitter.  Among those admirers is Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett.

Dockett tweeted Webb his phone number, as well as asking her to go to dinner and then a strip club after the game.

“Aye @_katherinewebb,” he wrote, “hit me (240) 464-4150 when game over, lets go to wing stop then King of diamond.”

The NFL player later deleted his tweet, and posted this one: “Sh*t that was suppose to be DM!”

Following the game, AJ McCarron took to his Twitter to congratulate teammates on their championship win and to send a reply to Dockett.

Needless to say, Dockett will probably need to change his number.
