Rihanna graces the April issue of Elle UK, revealing more about her relationship with Chris Brown in the issue that is due on newsstands on March 6.

Modeling fashions from her just-launched River Island clothing line mixed with luxury pieces, the stunning pop star looks at stylish as usual in the spread that accompanies an article revealing new details about her personal life — including the inspiration behind the single “Stay,” from her latest album, Unapologetic.

“‘Stay’ is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever,” the singer said. Of her relationship with Brown, she added: “You don’t have that feeling with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he is the one I have that kind of relationship with.”

The 25-year-old Bajan beauty credits their growing maturity for the stability they are experiencing now, which she hopes will lay the foundation for a solid connection.

“What we want [is] a great friendship that’s unbreakable,” the pop diva added. “Now that we’re adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and I’m thankful for that.”

What will the couple do with this new beginning? Although Rihanna did not name Brown as a potential father, she did tell the British magazine she would like to be a parent within five years. “I will probably have a kid,” she said of her near-future plans. “And I’ll have to set some things up so I don’t have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring.”

Denying rumors that she has a serious drug problem, and ignoring the drama that has seemed to follow her through her association with Brown, RiRi, as she is affectionately called by fans, assured the public that she is on the road to personal stability.

“I want health and happiness in five years,” the “Diamonds” crooner also said. “I want to be healthy and happy.”

Regardless of what direction her personal life develops in, it’s clear that Rihanna’s career is continuing to boom.

In addition to the launch of her new clothing line, the multifaceted entertainer will begin her 2013 Diamonds World Tour on March 8.
