In this viral video Antwon McCoy and Leonard Patton, two young California Conservation Corps workers, show off their dance moves for the camera, when their seemingly square supervisor John Griffith decides to join.

McCoy and Patton reportedly taught the self-described “big nature nerd/mountain man boss” some dance moves in their spare time.

In addition to working for the CCC, Griffith is also the author of the pre-teen/teen novel Totem Magic: Going Mad.

The novel centers around two sixth grade friends who help endangered animals and solve environmental problems, with magic and a supernatural world mixed in.

According to his website, Griffith penned his first novel after noticing many of the youth he works with “aren’t connected to nature in a way that promotes compassion and stewardship.”

Griffith is donating all proceeds from the book to “wildlife care centers and outdoor youth programs that promote ethnic/racial diversity.”

Is Griffith the dancing equivalent of Susan Boyle? Check out this uproarious clip for yourself and you decide.
