Woman kicked off plane for singing Whitney Houston song

NBC NEWS – Dancing on a plane can make you a viral hit on YouTube, but singing on one could get you removed by an air marshal.

That’s what happened to one disruptive passenger when she repeatedly crooned the ’90s hit “I Will Always Love You” on a coast-to-coast American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York City last Thursday.

The flight left Los Angeles at 3:30 p.m. and was scheduled to land at New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. But when this unruly traveler refused to stop belting out Whitney Houston’s anthemic ballad from “The Bodyguard,” the flight crew had to intervene.

The aircraft made an unplanned stop at Kansas City International Airport (MCI) at 6:06 p.m. to remove the songstress.

American Airlines declined to comment on the incident.

Airport spokesman Joe McBride told WBTV, “The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew. There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”
