Oprah Winfrey tops this year’s Forbes list of The Most Powerful Celebrities.
The list of 100 celebrities is based on the individual’s fame. To gauge a celebrity’s amount of fame several things are taken into consideration: total earnings over the past 12 months, social media presence, how often he or she is mentioned in print or television media, and they are perceived by the American public.
With the fourth spot, superstar Beyonce made it into the list’s top five. Â The “Bow Down” singer placed 28 spots above her husband, rapper Jay-Z.
Rihanna, LeBron James, and Tyler Perry are among the notables to make the 2013 Forbes‘ Celebrity 100.
