Kerry Washington’s highly-anticipated return to TV is quickly approaching as season 3 of the hit series Scandal airs on October 3rd.

In the meantime, the A-List actress hasn’t had any trouble generating buzz.

In the past few months alone, she landed her first Emmy nomination, graced the August cover of Vanity Fair, topped the magazine’s list of this year’s best-dressed listand got secretly married to NFL cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

Now, the Hollywood star is featured on the October issue of Glamour and Washington — who plays Olivia Pope, a quick-witted political fixer — sat down with the glossy to share some of her own crisis-management solutions to reader-submitted questions.

Although she may not be the expert she plays onscreen, Washington still has some instinctual remedies to life dilemmas like spilling wine over a white outfit or debunking nasty rumors.
