Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

The holograms of two of hip-hop’s biggest legends returned to the stage for a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

Gone but not forgotten, The late Eazy E and Shaolin’s own Ol’ Dirty Bastard hit the Rock the Bells stage to pay homage to N.W.A. and the Wu-Tang clan respectively.

Like the Tupac hologram that debuted at Coachella last year, members of the Eazy -E and ODB’s estate gave permission to have the likenesses of the rappers used for the Rock the Bells music stage and according to the crowd, the experience was both eerie and amazing.
