Mateo is a rising R&B singer who has been enjoying the success of his new single “How Good Is Your Love,” which is dedicated to all the pretty girls next door.
The Ohio native, with the guidance of his mentor and producer Kerry Brothers, wanted to craft a song that let the average woman know they are appreciated.
“You can what tell what type of girl they are because they look and feel just as comfortable in a dress as they would be in a pair of sweatpants and Jordans,” said the 26-year-old Morehouse graduate about the difference between industry women and down-to-earth ladies.
“They just have a presence about them,” he added.
