Forbes magazine has released their annual ranking America’s 400 richest people.

The list boasts the financial success of the nation’s most affluent men and women who work in a variety of industries.

But while the job descriptions of those mentioned vary across the board, the list lacks diversity in regards to race as it includes only one African-American billionaire, media mogul Oprah Winfrey.

Winfrey ranked no. 184 on the list with $2.9 billion after her television network, OWN, delivered high ratings and considerable profits.

The network launched over two years ago, but it was this year that marked significant financial gains as OWN attracted over 30 new advertisers and viewership increased by 22 percent.

Unsurprisingly, Bill Gates topped the list as the richest American — a title he has held for 20 consecutive years.

Meanwhile, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg ranks as one of the youngest billionaires on the list. The 29-year-old was ranked no. 20 and is reportedly worth $19 billion.
