WNBA players Diana Taurasi and Seimone Augustus were face-to-face at the Phoenix Mercury and the Minnesota Lnyx playoff game when the two suddenly exchanged a kiss on the court.

The two all-stars were caught in an altercation where a serious shove was followed by a quick smooch from Taurasi who landed the kiss on Augustus’ cheek before officials separated the two.

One of the game’s commentators said the players have known each other since they were as young as 10 — and after the game, Augustus joked about the incident.

“As far as me and Diana and the tango dance that we had, I always say she just wanted some of my deliciousness,” Augustus told reporters.

In response to the incident, Taurasi said: “I was just trying to make sweet love. That’s about it.”

Both Taurasi and Augustus were issued personal fouls but eventually, Augustus’ team took home the win with a score of 85-62.
