Veteran character actor James Woods is not a fan of President Barack Obama and he is letting everyone on social media know it.

In a series of combative and angry tweets, the 66-year-old actor laid the blame for the government shutdown solely on the president and called him a “true abomination.”

Woods, who recently played a villain seeking to take down an African-American president (played by Obama supporter Jamie Foxx) in this summer’s White House Down, also points the finger at the president as a cause for gun violence and racial tensions.

“I don’t expect to work again. I l think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first,” said Woods, acknowledging that his conservative statements might not be well received in Hollywood.

The two-time Academy-Award-nominated actor has openly expressed support for President George W. Bush and other Republicans in recent years.
