ATLANTAEbony Steel, co-host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, was just one of a handful of celebs to walk the runway at a benefit fashion show supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Steel, a breast cancer survivor, looked the perfect picture of health in a sleeveless pink silk dress designed by Project Runway’s Rafael Cox.

The popular radio personality was joined on the catwalk by So So Def songstress Dondria, Quad Webb-Lunceford of Bravo’s Married to Medicine, and VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’s Mimi Faust and Erica Dixon. Other breast cancer survivors also modeled in the show.

The 41-year-old, who has been cancer-free for 6 years, took to the microphone afterwards to encourage the 500-strong audience to look after their health and get mammograms.

She has been an outspoken advocate of the disease since her life-changing diagnosis in 2007, when she lost her hair and endured months of chemo before eventually being given the all-clear.

The Women of Atlanta Benefit Fashion presented by Rafael Cox Designs also showcased the young designer’s Fall 2013 collection line. The event took place on Thursday at the 595 North, a trendy spot located in the heart of Atlanta.
